To meet the growing need for Wi-Fi connectivity and deliver the best "wireless" customer experience at home, POST Telecom has partnered with Plume®, a smart home services platform. Plume has been identified as a partner of choice, offering an innovative solution that perfectly complements the performance of POST's high-speed Internet network.
This collaboration enables POST to offer a scalable Wi-Fi network solution, called "WIFI POWER", which dynamically adapts to users' needs, ensuring an optimized and stable Wi-Fi connection in every room and with every connected device. A powerful Wi-Fi connection can be particularly useful when teleworking or using streaming services.
Available as a kit, WIFI POWER consists of smart Wi-Fi repeaters, called SuperPods, that communicate with each other and simply plug into electrical outlets throughout the home, including a SuperPod™ connected directly by cable to POST's Internet router.
In addition to guaranteeing the best possible Wi-Fi coverage thanks to self-optimization based on continuous analysis of each user's individual needs, POST's WIFI POWER offers advantages in terms of home Wi-Fi network management and security, conflicts with neighboring Wi-Fi networks or a motion detection system. The "HomePass®" mobile application provides an overview of all connected devices, and enables management of the Wi-Fi network, guest user access and filtering functions. In addition, users can restrict access to certain websites on a temporary basis, depending on the device in question. In terms of security, WIFI POWER acts as an additional firewall.
POST Luxembourg is the first operator in Luxembourg to offer such a Wi-Fi solution. WIFI POWER is now available to all customers with a current POST consumer Internet access offer. Remote technical support is available 24/7 in 4 languages.
