Drawing competition

We are excited to announce a competition that invites all children aged 4-8 to participate and unleash their creativity.

The theme: ‘Draw a stamp for Saint Nicholas’

  • Saint Nicholas is a character loved by all, symbolizing the generosity and joy of the end-of-year holidays.
  • We invite children to imagine and draw their own stamp celebrating Saint Nicholas.
  • Whether he's on a sleigh, handing out gifts, or surrounded by his faithful companions, we can't wait to see how your little artists will interpret this magical theme.

Prepare your drawing

I draw my artwork

The drawings must be made on a sheet or cardboard in A4 format, unfolded.
Children can use colored markers, watercolor or another technique of their choice.
Important: For reasons of legibility, please avoid colored pencils, texts and any other elements smaller than 2 cm.

I put all the documents in an A4 envelope

Write the child's name and age legibly on the back of the picture.
Place the picture in an A4 envelope along with a signed parental authorization (“Formulaire de consentement”; see “Competition rules”).
Please be careful not to bend the picture.

I send my documents to the right address

Drawings must be sent before October 10, 2024.

  • 2nd Prize: 2 sheets of the ‘Saint Nicholas/Kleeschen’ stamp as well as the book ‘Briefträger Maus’ (worth €70)
  • 3rd Prize: 2 sheets of the ‘Saint Nicholas/Kleeschen’ stamp as well as the book ‘Briefträger Maus macht Ferien’ (worth €70)

The winning stamp

The ‘Saint Nicholas/Kleeschen’ stamp selected by the jury will be issued in the form of ‘meng.post’ stamps, the customizable stamp from POST Philately.

As a loyal partner of Saint Nicholas, POST Luxembourg opens the “Secrétariat du Kleeschen” every year in November. POST sends a reply with a small, playful surprise to each sender before these letters reach Saint Nicholas. The winning stamp of the competition will also be used this year for the reply letters.

This stamp also has a charity purpose: all profits from the sale of these stamps will be donated to a Luxembourg association that works to help disadvantaged children.

Participate and celebrate the magic of Saint Nicholas!

We encourage all parents to motivate their children to participate in this unique competition. This is a great opportunity for children to develop their creativity while celebrating the tradition of Saint Nicholas.

For any questions or additional information, do not hesitate to contact us at contact@post4kids.lu. We look forward to discovering your children's talents.

Good luck to all our little artists!
