DEEP Announces the Development of a Sovereign Cloud in Luxembourg in Collaboration with OVHcloud
DEEP by POST Group announces a strategic partnership with OVHcloud, a global player and European leader in the cloud sector, to offer a Sovereign Cloud for the Luxembourg market, with commercialization planned for 2025. This project will rely on an integrated cloud platform (hardware and software) developed by OVHcloud, which will be hosted and operated autonomously by DEEP in its own data centers located in Luxembourg, in an offline mode.
The solution designed by OVHcloud is based on 25 years of innovation to offer a set of high-performance, secure cloud services that respect its users and their data.
Sébastien Genesca, member of the DEEP management committee and in charge of Cloud solutions, states: "This partnership is strategic for several reasons: DEEP's Luxembourg clients will be able to host their sensitive and critical data in a Sovereign Cloud hosted in DEEP's data centers and benefit from the capabilities of the OVHcloud solution, particularly in terms of the computing power required for the use of Artificial Intelligence."
The OVHcloud platform relies on a set of solutions based on open-source standards offered in offline mode to ensure European data sovereignty. In the long term, the OVHcloud platform will also host a specific software offering.
